Where is Oil Going To ?
I will be reading the economic news more often. I went to my gas pump today and I just found my gas at $4.15 per gallon. I spent $110 to fill up my now horrible SUV. I think we are about to go through a very bad time over this summer. I can not afford to pay for gas at these prices. Can you?
I went to check oil prices and it is now at $136 .Of course that meant nothing to me 3 years ago, but now I will be checking those prices. It is amazing how anyone at this day and age can still suggest that there is nothing wrong with how we are consuming oil. I keep on hearing that solar energy is very expensive but now I have very major doubts about that assertion. It is obvious to me that some one some where is stealing food from my children’s mouths and feeding some oil baron somewhere.
Today the stock market is filled with bad news. Steve Jobs might be losing his job, more financial institutions are being considered not safe and my 401k continues to lose value.What is happening here? I am not one to panic but something is going on that we the simple people do not seem to be getting.
I have reduced my weekly grocery list. I have reduced my driving. My wife sold her SUV to get a more fuel efficient car. I am working more hours and still I am finding it more difficult each week to pay my bills. Amongst all this George Bush is still talking about Al Queda. I don’t give a damn about Iraq anymore, I need to get my finances in order and soon. Telling me that $4 gas is here to stay is not something I can tout as progress.
Someone please tell me, where is oil going to ? I will buy oil soon at this rate.
