Kobe Doing Me Proud
It has been long since I could say that I am back watching basketball. After a few years where Shaq was just making the game of basketball boring, I can at last say that Kobe is bringing the good old days of basketball back.
I got tired of seeing a boring spurs team just run over everybody in the west and the boring detriot pistons do the same in the east conference. Basketball is not meant to be a boring game but with the current trend of buying one good player, ala Lebron, and having the rest of the team just mediocre players, it was difficult watching some of those games.
However, this year we are seeing a few bright spots in this formerly great game. Kobe has managed to learn that he can’t win alone and the Celtics are just a great team to watch. You never know who in the Celtics will be having a great team. Doc Rivers owes a lot to his players as he can not be said to be a great coach. Just a lucky coach.
So now I am hoping for a lakers and celtics final and hopefully some entertainment in the NBA finals after some 6 years of the most boring finals ever. Kudos to the new basketball generation and this time I will watch all the games.
